In your role, you will:

- Monitor and ensure smooth transition of Core components through the internal processing along with the acknowledgement of on dock receipt at the Supplier.
- Handle projects with a broad scope in own discipline mid to long-term in focus
- Manage a portfolio of parts, and ensure their availability for use in new or repaired condition, for Customer use
- Advise client on complex problems. Solve moderately complex problems in own specialty area.
- Manage Repair Orders with Suppliers, in line with Repair turnaround time and repairs costs objectives as defined by contract or business needs
- Conduct projects with broad scope. Prepare and present issues, findings, solutions to management.
- Manages the flow of materials to meet the appropriate level of service to our customers, and the inventory level requirements within budget constraints.
- Manage the Information flow from the Supplier on Quotations, (time to quote, quality of quote) and approve/challenge repair offering and pricing.
- Manage the Supplier in execution of the terms and conditions with respect to the repair turnaround times, and repair quotations as well as repair costs.
- Arrange for and/or participate in preparation and presentations of scheduled Supplier Performance Reviews at Bombardier Aerospace or at the Supplier’s site as deemed required.

Desired profile

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You hold a Bachelor in Operations or Industrial Management or Technical College Degree in a related field, combined with two (2) or more years of experience
- You have 2-5 years experience in a similar position
- You are good at multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
- You have good knowledge of computer tools such as Excel, Internet and Lotus Notes
- You hold a APICS certification (an asset).
- You speak and write French and English
- You have knowledge and experience in using SAP is an asset
- You have solid Communication and negotiation Skills
- You have good knowledge of Excel, Access, Internet, Lotus notes
- You have knowledge in Contractual PO management and Cost Estimating an asset
