The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Candidates meeting these criteria and interested in a VIE, please register before your

Tasks:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a VIE for Export Control & Ethics and Compliance to join Airbus UK based in Filton in the legal and compliance function (SIGLUM LAO) You will be working alongside both the Ethics & Compliance Manager and the Export Control Manager supporting them with variety of projects linked to Ethics and Compliance & Export Control.
This is a varied role with high exposure and contact with a wide variety of other departments. You will be involved in the planning and development of a number of events, which will not only aid the development of your skills but it will give you a good insight and understanding of the role that Ethics & Compliance and Export Control play within an organisation.
Your core responsibilities will include the following:
- Assisting in the organisation of Ethics & Compliance training.
- Supporting presentations to staff and mangers on Ethics & Compliance and Export Control topics.
- Managing logistics and materials for awareness sessions, risk reviews and other market places covering Ethics & Compliance and Export Control events around the UK sites.
- Assisting in coordinating site visits and events.
- Undertaking projects to create and improve materials and record keeping for awareness and training sessions.
- Undertaking project to research legislation for certain countries and produce guidance material for use across the wider Airbus Group community.
- Collecting and processing survey data.
- Updating the export control systems as required by the UK export control manager.
- Acting as an inter-department liaison.
Skills:
As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following skills and competencies:
- Hold a relevant degree in Law, Training & Development, Marketing (or equivalent).
- Prior knowledge of Ethics & Compliance fundamentals.
- Expertise in Export Compliance.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage people in the face of change.
- Interpersonal skills are essential due to the high level of interaction with people.
- Ability to communication with people at all levels.
- Good organisational skills.
- Negotiation level English.
- Willingness to travel (once every few months)
