JOB INFORMATION

Salary:£20,000 per annum
Days/Hours:Mon - Thurs: 8am to 4:30pm
Friday: 8am to 4pm
Location:Greenford

JOB DESCRIPTION

TECHNICAL
*Performance of comprehensive electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair of Lavazza coffee equipment, including Espresso Point and Blue machines
*Ownership of related maintenance and repair records
*Coordination of machine exchanges with customers outside of catchment area operated directly by Lavazza
*Preparation and testing of new machines before dispatching to customers
*Assist with grinder related calls into Lavazza UK, including:
- Adjusting or replacing parts, and supplying new ones
- Set-up and testing of grinders, ready for dispatch
- Organisation delivery and collection of grinders to and from customer sites
- Repair/refurbishment of returned grinders
- Accurate and timely record keeping of grinder movements
- Communication with customers by telephone and advising on corrective action

WAREHOUSE
*Assembling and packing of orders for delivery, haulage and courier
*Safe and correct operation of the forklift vehicle
*Loading and unloading of orders from Suppliers
*Loading and unloading items into the pallet racking
*Assisting with scheduled stock-taking and ad-hoc inventory requests, as required
*Ensuring that the warehouse and respective outside areas are clean, tidy and well maintained at all times

*Assisting with a variety of ad-hoc tasks for the business, as allocated by Line Manager
*Loading and unloading items into the pallet racking
*Assisting with stock orders and control of spare parts for direct and indirect channels

EXPERIENCE/ COMPETENCIES
*Good communication skills
*Be a forward thinker with a positive, 'can do' attitude
*High degree of flexibility and efficiency
*Organised, with good problem solving skills
*Ability to work independently as well as participating as pro-active team player, and always willing to go that extra mile
*Confident with IT basics

WAREHOUSE & TECHNICAL
*Previous technical experience
*Experience working in a warehousing environment
*Knowledge and practice of safe working habits within a physically demanding role
*Clean and current UK driving license preferred
*Valid forklift operating license essential (training can be arranged)
