Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team immediately.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Running charging reports from in house system. Vetting this report to ensure accuracy
- Raising Sales invoices on the accounting package
- Scanning & Emailing of the invoice & back up to each customer
- First point of contact for customer queries on invoices, dealing with credit requests timely.
- Amend pricing where necessary and ensuring that in house system agrees with sales invoice raised for week
- Matching Manifests received from Customers to weekly charging
- Completing report for Accountant with weekly sales figures
- Manage Purchase order numbers from Customer to ensure sufficient balance available
- Liaise with Managers of depots to close out on any customer queries
- Liaise with Accounts Receivable to ensure prompt payment by debtors
- Posting of purchases invoices on the accounting package
- Meeting weekly & monthly deadlines as required including month end procedures
- Answering phone, taking messages where necessary
- Managing the E-flow account
- Filing
- Managing Stationery levels
- Adhoc duties as required
