Key tasks

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Ensuring all rooms are clean and ready for our guests
* Oversee stock ordering and ensuring we have the appropriate par levels according to business needs
* Effective allocation of rooms  
* Manage lost property, ensuring all items are recorded
* Being vigilant towards the back of house areas, ensuring these are kept clean & tidy at all times
* Supporting the Executive Housekeeper with;
* Managing the Roster according  to business levels
* Performance reviews & development for the team
* Updating and reviewing procedures when necessary

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
* A passion for providing memorable experiences for our guests and clients
* Strong attention to detail, organisation skills & professional communication style
* Opera knowledge advantageous
* Experience working in a hotel environment
* Proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role
* Team player and able to work effectively with colleagues from different cultures
* The successful candidate will be offered a range of hours and shifts
* Knowledge of Front Office within hotels is advantageous
* Must have current work rights for New Zealand
