Key tasks

Do you like working early shifts and having the afternoons free? Have you a strong passion for food? Do you enjoy talking and socializing with guests? Then you are the person for us!

The successful candidate will work with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to supervise all operational aspects of the Kitchen and related outlets. Ensure all Ambassadors are following procedures according to stipulated departmental and Hotel policies. Maintain strict hygiene and safety procedures. Be responsible for the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef or Sous Chef. Assist with the implementation and maintenance of programs to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and related outlets.

Essential and optional requirements

— Proven experience in a similar role, preferably including 5 star experience.
— A passion for food and the culinary arts that is knowledgeable and effusive.
— Fluent in English
— Ability to work early mornings including weekends and public holidays.
— Immaculate grooming, articulate in communication
— Time management and work efficiently and autonomously.
— Physically fit and able to stand for the duration of a shift (8 hours).
— Reliable and punctual.
